ZINCALUME® steel
is a zinc/aluminium
alloy-coated
steel which
comprises of 55%
aluminium, 43.5%
zinc and 1 .5%
silicon. It
offers excellent
corrosion
resistance and
can outlast
galvanized steel
by up to four
times, depending
on the
environment.
ZINCALUME® steel
coating is
composed of 55%
aluminium by
weight as
compared to
galvanized steel
which is
composed of 1
00% zinc. Thus,
in terms of
yield advantage,
the coating
weighs less,
giving more
square metre per
tonne as
compared to
galvanized
steel.
The product is
certified by
SIRIM and meets
the Malaysian
Standards MS 119
6 and Australian
Standards AS 1
397, whereby
