Apart from manufacturing the Durodek™ System of
steel deckings, we also provide excellent support
services from design through installation. Its
degree of flexibility and convenience is a clear

In 1998, BRANZ the quality-assured testing agency
for fire performance of composite floor decking with
international recognition agreements with BOMBA,
NATA, HOKLAS & SINGLAS etc, conducted stringent
fire-testing of Durodek™. In accordance to British
Standards, Duro Metal Industrial (M) Sdn Bhd has
successfully obtained the BOMBA approval letter for
use of Durodek™ in Malaysia as a fire-rated
composite deck material.
We have gone one step ahead of our competitors by
using Durodek™ without any bottom reinforcement
under certain accepted conditions with BOMBA
approved BRANZ evaluated load span table. This
enables substansial savings to owners, developers
and contractors since less reinforcement is being
used, especially for high rise steel buildings.
