can be lapped over
interior support of
multi-bay buildings to
produce a structurally
continuous line
throughout the length of
the building. Lapping
results in better
economy and provides
double thickness of
material over interior
supports, thus improving
their load and rigidity,
and incresing the
capacity of the sections
to resist bending
moments.
